Anthony Roosevelt Sobers

Aged 67 years, affectionately called “Mice Milk”, late of Niles Road, Ellerton, St. George. Former Employee of the Barbados Water Authority entered into rest on September 18, 2021 at the Geriatric Hospital, Beckles Road, St. Michael.
Son of the late Elise Wiles nee Sobers and Darrell Lowe; Father of Sherry-Anne Hinkson (Constituency Assistant to the Honorable Dwight Sutherland); Brother of Victor, David, Marcia, Elsie and Cicely Sobers (Both of the USA), Kenneth Wiles, Tyrone Lowe, Shirley Beckles and the late Cheryl Deidre Sobers;
Grandfather of Asha Pierre; Nephew of Inez Wilkinson and Valma Belle; Uncle of Rinieta Graham, Rokieya, Recardo, Juliette, Julia, Karen, Leroy, Shakirah, Victoria and Kelly Sobers and many others;Great Uncle of Aaron Sobers, Azari, Amari and Shamire Graham and many others;
Cousin of Many; Brother-In-Law of Heather Sobers; Friend of Many; Relative of the Ward, Belle and Mayers Families.
A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Anthony Roosevelt Sobers will take place at Ellerton Gospel Hall, Niles Road, St.George on Monday September 27, 2021 at 1:30PM. The cortege will then proceed to the St. Luke’s Anglican Churchyard, Brighton, St. George for a second service commencing at 3:30PM immediately followed by the interment.

Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, Today, Sunday September 26, 2021 from 1:00- 3:00 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at Ellerton Gospel Hall. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 11:00 AM on the day of the funeral.
