Bernard Godfrey Best – aged 94, retired Mason, of Diamond Close, Ealing Park, Christ Church, formerly of Sayes Court, Christ Church. You labored tirelessly to provide for your family in a quiet and affirmative way. We give God thanks for your life and the positive impact you made with all those you came into contact with. May your rest will be a peaceful one, until the day we all meet around the throne of God to sing redemption song.

Son of the late Orlando and Christian Prescott née Best;

Husband of the late Norma Best née Cumberbatch;

Father of Dr. Ruth Best (USA);

Brother of Cuthbert, Montelle, Clarkson and Bevington Prescott, the late Kenrick Best, Joyce Bradshaw, Glenville Moseley, Mary Chase, Edwina Davis, Doriel and Elvira Prescott;

Uncle of David and Daniel Best, Sherma Brathwaite, Yvonne Taitte, Archibald Miller, Agnella Cooke, Eleanor Stoute, Rosalind Bradshaw-Boyce, Philip, Floyd, Dale, Dawn, Alfred, Janelle and Elton Prescott, Glencil Taylor, Deidre Chase, Junior Moseley, Darrell and Deborah Davis, the late Cynthia Callender and many others;

A Graveside Service celebrating the life and work of Bernard Godfrey Best takes place Monday February 21, 2022 at the Frangipani Lawns, Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10.00 am, with the interment immediately following.

His body will repose for viewing tomorrow Monday at the Frangipani Lawns, Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens from 9.00 am until the start of the service.

No flowers by special request, however donations toward the Barbados Council for the Disabled will be appreciated. Donations can be made at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank, Account number 3686554.

The service and interment will be streamed live on Monday from 9.45 am on

Strict Covid-19 Protocols will be in effect.
