Edsworth Othniel Brathwaite

Edsworth of Sion Hill, St. James, entered peacefully into rest at the age of 73. Retired employee of Barbados Quarry Ltd. Son of the late Darwin and Iris Brathwaite. Father of Morrison Lewis and Sade Rollins. He was Grandfather of Amauri, Yuri and Ceeanna.

Brother of Grantley, Orville, Ancelina, Stephanie, Erwin and Marva. Uncle of Lorna, Joanne, Janet, Omar, Duane, Tonia, Anthony, Alicia, Colleen and the late Ronald. Cousin of Stephen Headley, Sylvia Lucas and many others. Brother-in-law of Sylvia Hinds, Marcia Brathwaite, Lindel Williams and Anthony Sobers. Relative of the Alleyne, Headley and Daniel families. Friend of Marson and Marceline Smith, Trevor Richards, Jeffrey Odwin, Euleen and Cheryl.

The funeral of the late Edsworth Othniel Brathwaite, leaves the Earls Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Wednesday, September 15th at 12:00 noon for the Parish Church of St. Peter, Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter. Relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00pm.

The cortege will then proceed to St. Peter’s Cemetery for the interment.

Relatives and friends can visit to pay their respects, in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort St. Lucy and to reflect their memories of Edsworth Othniel Brathwaite from 4:00pm – 6:00pm on Tuesday 14th September 2021. Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 am on Wednesday 15th September, 2021.
