Widow of Luther St. Clair King; Mother of Lloyd Wood (UK), Seneca King (Boston, USA), Sheryl King-Henry, Andrew, Wendel and the late Lauriston King;

Adoptive mother of Cheryl Griffith; Grandmother of LT. Elvis King (Barbados Coast Guard), Kadeem King (USA), Charmaine Antoine (St. Kitts), Marius and Lloyd Wood (UK), Mateo, Mikhail, Petals, Alissa and the late Aliyah King and Sophia Wood; Great grandmother of five;

Sister of the late Olga Gibson, Wilbert and Alberta Wood;

Aunt of Hyacinth Wood and Patricia Downes (both of Toronto, Canada), Sgt Julia Wood,   Marcel, Scofield and Robert Wood, Avis Forde, Delores and Wayne King;

Cousin of the Wood family of St. Joseph and the Pearson family of Trinidad and Tobago;

Mother-in-Law of Pastor Anthony Henry, Maria Wood and Ayana King;

Sister-in-law of Maylene King, Elaine Collymore and the late Vera King;

Friend of Ella and Lionel Nowell, Majorie Husbands, Barbara Layne, Edna Payne, Lucene Barrow, June Clarke, Robert Millar, Ruth Burnham and members of the Black Rock SDA Church and many others.

The funeral of the late Elsie King takes place on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the Black Rock Seventh-Day Adventist Church, St. Michael where invited relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10 a.m.; followed by the interment at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church.

Wreaths may be sent to Downes and Wilson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 no later than 7 a.m. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Downes and Wilson Funeral Home, Eagle Hall, St. Michael on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
