Glorietta “Nordene” Lawrence (née Inniss) – Resident of Buckley Terrace, St. George and formerly of Belair, St. Philip. She was a retired School Meals Server and faithful member of Ellerton Wesleyan Holiness Church.

Daughter of the late Lionel and Myrtle Gibson

Loving and devoted mother of Roann “Faith” Lawrence (USA) and Laron Lawrence

Beloved grandmother of Kaléb Lawrence (Student of the UWI)

Caring sister of Peterson Inniss and Elon Gibson (both of the USA), Patricia and Anderson Gibson (both of Sagicor Life) and Zendor Gibson (Retired Police Officer)

Cherished aunt of Paul (Cayman Islands), Brandon, Telisha and Stacy (all of the USA), Damien (Canada), Leeann, Dairdre-Ann, Dedra-Lee, Jamal and Nicholas

Great-aunt of Ayden and Shani (both of the USA), Amani, Damani, Damari, Deaundre, Jaida, Zyaire and Zeniyah

Mother-in-law of Michael Jennings (USA)

Sister-in-law of Denise Gibson (USA), Rosetta and Marcelle Gibson

Cousin of Alex Linton (Alcar Cleaning) and the Burke, Inniss, Gibson and Weekes families

Treasured friend of many including Ordene Padmore, Gwendolyn Hall, Mrs. Sutherland, Janelle, Jacqueline Wickham and the Antrobus family.

A Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Glorietta “Nordene” Lawrence will take place at Ellerton Wesleyan Holiness Church, Eustace Lashley Road, Ellerton, St. George on Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Frangipani Lawns, Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church for the interment.

Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George tomorrow Monday February 21, 2022 from 3:30 to 5:30 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Church. Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 7:15 a.m. on the day of the funeral.
