James Rupert Bovell 


James Rupert Bovell of The Whim, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 88.  Retired employee of Roger Manning Construction Company and Black Bess Quarry Ltd.

Husband of Evadney Bovell (former employee of the now-defunct Noel Roach & Sons.). 

Son of the late Prince and Amy Bovell.

Father of Sherral Burnett and Jerry Bovell.

Grandfather of Kyle and Sherrie Ann Burnett and Jeresha Bovell.  

Brother of Valenza, Rollins and Ermay Bovell, Velma Worrell, Ercillene Cox (U.K.), the late Gweneth Smith, Doreen Bowen and Cynthia Walker. 

Uncle of Halcourt, Lindsay, Everton, Oswald, Nancy and Charles Bovell, Ena, Margaret, Winston and Vincent Walker, Eugene Welch (N.C.C.), Carl and Ernest Cox (U.K.).

Great Uncle of many.

Brother-in-law of Eurelene, Kensley, Shirley and Sylton Reece and Joan McIntosh (U.S.A.).

Relative of the Clarke, Johnson, Mascoll and Welch families.

Friend of Jean Denny (Canada).


The funeral of the late James Rupert Bovell leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m. for All Saints’ Anglican Church, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00 p.m.  

The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of James Rupert Bovell from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Thursday
