Aged 76, of West Proverbs Drive, Grassfield, Duncans, St. Philip, formerly of Craigg Road, St. Lawrence, Christ Church and Chateaubelair, St. Vincent. Your kind nature, willingness to help, bubbly and pleasant personality made you our special gift.  Your life toils are now over and though hard we release you into God’s loving care.

Daughter of the late Sheila and Irvin Adams;                                            

Mother of Carol Ann Burke (TVET Council) and Justin Burke (Terra Caribbean);

Grandmother of Joshua Burke;

Sister of Eustace Adams (St. Vincent), Lionel Adams (Canada), Ceyon Adams (USA), David Adams (United Kingdom), the late Philip, Gilbert and Hannah Adams;

Aunt of Marva Holder, Jackie, Emma, Steven and Louise Adams (all of the United Kingdom), Leona Adams (Canada), La Fleur and Fay Ann Adams (both of the USA);

Great-aunt of seven;

Great-great-aunt of four;

Godmother of Maria and Denise Cummins and many others;

Sister-in-law of Ynolde Adams (Canada);

Relative of the Adams and Bynoe families;

Friend of Sandra Cox-Cummins, Ishmael Alleyne, Joanne Yearwood, Dr. Tricia Simmons, Lillian and Esther Brewster and others too numerous to mention.

A Graveside Service celebrating the life and work of Martha Evena Burke will take place on Thursday October 07, 2021 in the Churchyard of St. Philip Parish Church where invited relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3.00 pm, followed immediately by the interment.

There will be no viewing of Martha’s body by special request.
