Richard McDonald Jarvis – aged 70 years, late of 1st Avenue Maxwell Hill, Christ Church and retired Messenger at the Barbados National Oil Company, entered into rest on February 22, 2022.
Son of the late Samuel and Naneta Jarvis;
Father of Catherine Taylor, Stacey Lokey, Kathy Berry, DaCosta Marshall, Dwayne Pilgrim and Latoya Mottley;
Brother of Obrien and Edwin Jarvis, Derick Cumberbatch, Judith Lewis, Jennifer Payne and the late Albert Jarvis;
Grandfather of 13;
Uncle of Andrew, Adrian, Rodney, Ian and Robin Jarvis, Jamel Lewis, Karen Thorne, Anita and Anderson Callender, Alison Smith-Padmore, Andrea Rose, Ryan Small and the late Robert Jarvis;
Cousin of many;
Friend of many;
Relative of the Lashley, Welch, Straker and Waithe families.
A Graveside Service of Thanksgiving celebrating the life of Richard McDonald Jarvis will take place at Christ Church Cemetery, Church Hill, Christ Church on Friday March 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Viewing takes place at St. George’s Home for Funerals, Carmichael House, Carmichael, St. George, on Thursday March 10, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and an hour before the commencement of the Service at the Graveside.
Flowers may be delivered to St. George’s Home for Funerals no later than 11:30 AM on the day of the funeral.
