Aged 96 and affectionately known as “Baby” of 12D Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St. Michael. Daughter of the late Clement and Ella Howell, and Mother of Sonja Parris. Grandmother of Samala and Shedeur Parris; Sister of Bishop St. Clair Howell, Edwin Howell, Evon Nicholas, Monica Howell-Stowe. Mother-in-law of Andrew Parris – Aunt of Sharon Griffith, Marion Todd, Oswald Howell, Norma Thorpe and 25 others.

Great-aunt of forty; sister-in-law of Catherine Howell, Olga Welch, Pamela and Rosetta Howell and Dennis Stowe.

The cortege of the late Veida Ometa Howell, leaves St. Hill and Sons Funeral Home, Bush Hall Main Road, St. Michael, on Wednesday September 15th, 2021 at 8:30am for The Calvary Moravian Church, Roebuck Street, St. Michael. Relative and friends are asked to meet at 10:00am for the Thanksgiving Service. The cortege will then proceed to the Westbury Cemetery for the burial.

Floral tributes may be sent to St. Hill and Sons Funeral Home, Bush Hall Main Roach, St. Michael no later than 8:15am on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021.
